Victoria-based singer-songwriter Mat Geddes blends alt-folk, roots rock, and a touch of Nashville twang with lyrics exploring love, mortality, awakening, and the strange beauty of being alive.
His forthcoming debut album, The Gedi Night, was recorded in Nashville with Juno Award-winning producer and guitarist Steve Dawson, alongside Justin Amaral on drums and William Moore on bass. The result is intimate, searching, and quietly cinematic. This is music for reflective moments, open roads, and anyone trying to find light in uncertain times.
Mat is also the frontman for alt-rock band Door d'Or whose debut album The Exquisite Dream has received critical acclaim.
